I've been getting a lot of questions about how global live weather is coming along. I'm sorry it's taking so long, and am pleased to say that I've found a provider and will be integrating shortly. If all goes as planned, all regions (including US) will have hourly, local weather updates at no extra charge. I'm just waiting for the provider to give me access to their service and actual integration should take very little time.
Since I haven't been able to actually code anything weather-related while waiting, I've been working on adding some buildings to Paperland. I've still got some work to do on them, but here's a sneak peak:
Thanks to everyone for being so patient!

Live Weather Status Update
Live Weather for Paperland hasn't gone as smoothly as I would have liked.
[UPDATE: see this post for more progress info]
A few weeks ago I released the update to users in the United States, which uses the NOAA public feed for weather. There are some improvements I'd like to make for those users, but I'm happy with how that's going.
After much more investigation, I settled on a weather provider for non-US users, and a few days after I released that update, they shut me down due to the high volume of traffic. This cutoff happened much quicker than anticipated, and to make matters worse, I have been unable to get a hold of anyone from the company to fix the issue.
I've decided to search for another global weather provider instead of dealing with this poor technical and customer support. I intend to have an updated version of Live Weather for non-US users in a week or two. I appreciate your patience and support, and hope you all will keep using Paperland until you have a chance to try out this feature as well.
As always, you can contact me at joko.interactive@gmail.com if you have any more questions.
Thanks,
Josh

Paperland
It's been a while, so I figured I should put something up so people have something fresh to look at if they ever stumble here from the Play Store :)
I just published Paperland Live Wallpaper in the Play Store, and after being featured on the front page for about a week, it's reached around 600,000 downloads! I'm really pleased with the reception, and a lot of people seem to like it.
Now what to do next?

Not seeing Light Grid?
I've received some emails recently from people not being able to see Light Grid in the Market. If you're having trouble, you can grab both the free and paid versions from https://slideme.org/en/user/jokointeractive

Light Grid in the market!
Well, I just uploaded my first live wallpaper to the market last week - Light Grid. It's already at about 5000 downloads, and it's still climbing. Thanks to everyone who's checked it out!
